Maltese Language at risk
My name is Sherose Cassar and I am currently studying at the University of Malta. In my first blog post I decided to tackle the issue discussed by MEP Francis Zammit Dimech who talks about the Maltese language and the risk it is facing not having much representation online. Being Maltese and a communication studies student I believe this is a very important topic and should be discussed more as it would be a shame for such a beautiful and unique language to die out. According to MEP Francis Zammit Dimech the Maltese language is facing the risk of "digital extinction" due to the lack of technology support.
